One of five "Wonder Theatres" opened by the Loew's Corporation between 1929 and 1930, the Kings Theatre was conceived as one of the most beautiful theaters in the country. The more than 3,000 seat theatre became a thriving entertainment center in Brooklyn's bustling commercial district along Flatbush Avenue.
